FREEZE DRIED VS DEHYDRATED (1).png

What is Freeze Drying?

Freeze-drying is a preservation method that removes moisture from food while locking in flavor, nutrients, and texture. The process involves freezing the food, then using a vacuum to gently remove the ice as vapor, leaving it lightweight and shelf-stable. This technique keeps foods fresh-tasting and nutrient-packed for years—just rehydrate when ready to enjoy!

All of our products are processed and freeze dried in a Simcoe County District Health Unit certified commercial kitchen.
