In 2011, our journey began with the purchase of a beautiful 60-acre farm in Oro Medonte. While raising sheep occupied our early years on the farm, the demands of running two businesses in Barrie limited our ability to fully immerse ourselves in our agricultural dreams. It wasn't until 2021, when we made the life-changing decision to sell our businesses, that we could redirect our focus towards our true passion—farming.

 

Embracing a newfound appreciation for the health benefits of mushrooms and recognizing their role in the future of sustainability, we founded The Mushroomery at White Pine Meadows. Today, we are committed to cultivating quality mushrooms while contributing to a more sustainable and healthier future.
